4. The range of the average daily personal use of water within our class is 1,493 L.

5. The median is a better representation because it is closer to the average of the united states, unlike the mean which is the average of our class. The median is 579 L and the mean is 600 L.

6. Most families in our class have yards/ bigger yards. Also, we use more water year round than places that snow because we are in a desert. It also doesn't rain a lot here.

7. The usage of water daily per day is closer to the national average because my household waters the yard using less water (due to the number of minutes the sprinklers are on for) than the rest of the class.
